On November 25th, 2002 the Canadian community of Cochrane, Alberta officially proclaimed itself as "A Community Striving to be Bully-free".

On November 18th, 2003, Cochrane, Alberta challenged communities around the world to also proclam themselves as "Communities Striving to be Bully-free".
